风水物的等级
FS items grades
In Feng Shui, "cures" or "enhancers" (风水物) aren't officially categorized by a rigid "level" system like a video game, but they are generally understood through their material, purpose, and spiritual preparation.
Here is how you can describe the hierarchy or "grades" of Feng Shui objects in English:
1. Basic Level: Decorative Symbols (Decoration Grade)
These are common items used primarily for their symbolic meaning. They are often mass-produced and work based on the "Psychological Feng Shui" of the environment.
* Examples: Plastic gold-colored toads, generic crystal balls, or posters of running horses.
* Key Feature: Low cost, easy to find, and used more for "good vibes" than heavy energy correction.
2. Intermediate Level: Elemental Cures (Material Grade)
At this level, the material is more important than the shape. Feng Shui is about balancing the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water), so the physical properties of the object matter.
* Examples: Real brass Wu Lou (Gourd) to weaken sickness stars, solid wood furniture to enhance growth, or authentic copper coins.
* Key Feature: They use the physical frequency of the material (e.g., metal draining earth energy) to create a real shift in the environment.
3. Advanced Level: Sacred & Natural Objects (Energy Grade)
These items possess natural energy due to their age, rarity, or geological formation. They are considered "living" cures.
* Examples: High-grade Jade, natural Citrine geodes, or ancient "Five Emperor" coins from specific historical periods.
* Key Feature: They carry a "Qi" (energy field) that is much stronger than synthetic materials, making them more effective for wealth and protection.
4. Supreme Level: Consecrated Objects (开光Grade)
This is considered the highest level. These objects have undergone Kaiguang (开光), a ritual or "eye-opening" ceremony performed by a monk or a master.
* Examples: A consecrated Pi Xiu or a custom-blessed Talisman (符).
* Key Feature: It is believed that the ritual "awakens" the spirit of the object, turning it from a piece of metal or stone into a spiritual protector that is "tuned" to the owner.
Summary of Terminology
If you are explaining this to someone, you can use these terms:
* Symbolic Cures: Items used for their meaning.
* Elemental Cures: Items used for their material properties.
* Consecrated / Blessed: Items that have been ritually activated (Kaiguang).
* Natural Qi: Energy derived from natural minerals or crystals.

火烧天门
Fire Burning the Heavenly Gate
"Fire Burning the Heavenly Gate" is a term in Feng Shui that describes a situation where the Northwest sector of a home or building is afflicted by strong fire energy. In Feng Shui, the Northwest (乾,Qian) represents the "Heavenly Gate" and is associated with the patriarch or male head of the household, as well as overall career prospects and wealth. The Qian trigram is also associated with metal, which is weakened or destroyed by fire.
